RAMON FIGUERAS
He studies trumpet with Àlex Baiget at the Conservatori de Terrassa where he obtains the Honour Award in 2007. That same year, he begins his higher education studies at ESMUC with Mireia Farrés and in Music Education at the UAB. In 2012, he is admitted to the Norges musikkhøgskole to pursue a master's degree in performance with Jonas Haltia and Anthony Plog.
During his time in Oslo, he plays with the main orchestras of Norway and in 2014, he wins the co-principal trumpet position at the Wermland Opera (Sweden), where he works until he returns to Catalonia in the summer of 2017, the year he wins the Special Prize and an Honourable Mention at the 1° Concorso Internazionale di Tromba "Girolamo Fantini" (Rome).
Ramon Figueras Alsius is considered a multifaceted artist and is currently experiencing a very active professional period, combining the Doctor Prats tour with the position of principal trumpet in the Banda Municipal de Barcelona.
Additionally, he works as a session musician and producer from La Cabina, his small oasis of creation and study.
He recently completed the Advanced Music Production Certificate course at Berklee College of Music.
